How Toxins Age Your Skin

Taking care of your skin is one of the best things that you can do to emphasize your natural beauty and glow. At Bella Aura, our natural skincare products make you look youthful and preserve the health of your skin by providing nutrition and sustenance. Our fresh and vibrant ingredients give your skin the help it needs to rejuvenate.

You might have noticed that at Bella Aura, we provide a list of what is missing from our ingredients as well as what is included. That’s because we believe that what our products do not contain is just as important as what they do contain. Our products are made without chemical toxins and fillers, which is why they are so good for your skin.

Why are the ingredients we don’t include so important? Well, let’s take a look at some of the toxins and fillers found in common skin care products (ingredients that you will find in many other brands).

Parabens

Parabens are a type of preservative that is commonly used in skincare products. They are also used in fragrance ingredients (and companies are not required to disclose fragrance ingredients, as they are considered “trade secrets”).

Parabens easily penetrate skin, and have been linked to hormonal imbalance and breast cancer. They also react with ultraviolet light, potentially causing advanced skin aging.

Parfum (Fragrance)

While smelling your lotion may be pleasant, commercial fragrances are the cause of most of the chemicals in your skin care products. Companies are not required to list the ingredients, so the many chemicals are boiled down into one word – parfum, or fragrance.  We also believe that our products should not affect the air quality for people around you who have respiratory problems or allergies.

There are many other fillers and toxins that are used in regular skin care products that we do not include at Bella Aura. We’re committed to creating safe and honest products that truly are good for you and your skin.
